  • July 4     "Brilliant Traces", Live Theater, 7/4-19   Live theater - romantic comedy. This transcendent script, originally produced in 1989 by the renowned Circle Repertory Company of New York with Kevin Anderson and Joan Cusack, concerns a cataclysmic encounter between two young people who have each been scarred by the tragic loss of a loved one. Rosannah DeLuce bursts into a remote cabin in Alaska, the home of Henry Harry. Neither one is overjoyed to find himself in the presence of another human being. Alternating between calm and fury, bewilderment and conviction, an understanding and compassion gradually develops.
The Merc production stars Whitney Lawless and Damon Abdallah (Fully Committed, Visiting Mr. Green, and many others,) and will be directed by Ginny Abdallah.
